I hope I've posted this topic in the right forum. If not, correct me.

I was reading a topic when I saw lines underneath someone's name in the bar containing the user names of the people reading that topic.
But what are those lines? What do they say?

It means they are currently replying to the thread.

Edit: I'm guessing it only shows that if they are using the full editor.

It means they are replying or editing a post in the topic.

Only when using the full editor, if you use the fast reply, it seems you dissapear from the list for some reason.

Actually, it means they're posting, if you move your mouse cursor over the lined ones, it saids they are posting, not lined ones are reading.
