What is the best version of Final Fantasy VI to play?

Final Fantasy VI has numerous retranslations and improvements. I only intend to play through this game once and wish to play the "best" overall version. I've looked at ROMhacking.net and believe one of these two is the way to go:

I'm willing to play one of its remakes if they're better than the SNES original.

I don't like the graphics in the remakes. SNES is best version.

I prefer the PS1 version for the FMVs.

If you like the original for nostalgia, go for the Snes

If you like the bonus content, go for gba/ios/PC w/e mods

Snes version all the way, and with the Woolsey Uncensored Patch, heh, fixes a lot of the censorship issues.
