I'm tryng to load super mario galaxy , but it keeps giving this error no matter what settings I try.

I'm using Neogamma backup launcher, its on verbatim -dvd

I was reading some posts from others with the same problem and one guy mentioned using cIOS rev 10.

this game works on my other wii with usb loader.

Is this a recently purchased Wii? If it is then it probably will not read any dvds other than original Wii discs. Just use a USB loader.

so you're saying the backup launcher won't work with any games at all?
The backup launcher will work, provided you don't have shitty DVDs like Memorex.
But if you bought your Wii recently, it probably has a drive that can't read any blank media

its not the disc , the disc is a verbatim -dvd .
It is a new wii , so I just realized its not the backup launcher.

so, will these newer ones work with a chip?

Get a hard drive, it'll be safer than a chip; you can get 120GB for like $50

No chip will allow you to read backup dvds. Only choice is to replace the dvd drive with an earlier version or get a usb loader. I was too disappointed when I had my Wii repaired and they sent me a new Wii with the D3-2 drive in it. But now I love USB. Fast load times and no discs to handle. And for my movies I put all of them on the usb drive. Movie fast forward and rewind is almost instantaneous.
