Does "bricked" mean as in the one that came in my New Nintendo 3DS XL and was already modified when I got it, and then it stopped working for no apparent reason?

You would either have to try another micro sd or format the card to see if the problem goes away, doesn't sound like a brick, if it was a brick you would just get a black screen if it was software brick.

My guess you didn't explain the situation correctly, that why people would assume it is a brick. You should open a thread instead and post some screen shot of error it show to really determine if it bricked or not, base on what you have provided doesn't sound like a brick, if you can turn it on and it boot into the 3DS home menu then it ain't a brick.

I explained it with all the details I could. How many times do I have to tell you that? She thought it was bricked. ? As of August or September 2018, I was unable to. I also corrupted my Emerald file around the same time trying to use an Action Replay. Here, I was using the action replay on the computer when I was in another discord.

Well forget about what Chary said, Chary is probably wrong if the unit can turn on and boot to the home menu, what you should do is open a thread, show some pictures, and try to explain your issue with your 3DS, that way it is easier for people on the forum to help you fix it.

Well fix one thing at a time, do what people have asked you to do, and open a thread instead. Leave your pokemon Emerald out of this for now, as you point toward the 3DS.

We are not here to talk about your pokemon Emerald issue so stop bringing that up, your opening question is on 3DS related so focus on that. If people know something about the Emerald issue then they would post in your other thread, don't bump for attention here on Gbatemp.

Well wait and see if anyone reply to that, you can't always expect an answer, people can choose to answer or not, temp here has a no bumping rule so you needs to watch that, don't bump your thread. As for the 3DS questions open a thread, explain it clearly, show some pictures, video etc. I do have to said it is hard to understand your question as it is not clearly explained.
