Hacking What happens when you delete a game from WBFS?

I was wondering what happens when I delete a game from my WBFS partition.
What happens to the space if it's in the middle of the drive?
How do the WBFS managers reclaim/defragment the space for new game additions?

They marked the previous used blocks as free. Adding a disc will always use the free blocks with the lowest block number. Defragmentation is not needed because the wbfs blocks are very large (16 MB on a 500 GB drive).

Very old managers have a delete bug that will mark the wrong blocks as free.
