Nah, we're cool. It'll be something completely unexpected. Nothing we plan on will ever fully happen (disaster wise). Hell, this iDepression 2.0 (i've just trademarked that one, don't steal.) that the US is about to "go through," i don't believe will happen. I think there will be tight moments, and near misses of disastrous things, but whatever is going to end us, we won't have any warning.


However, i DID get a hardcore sense this morning upon waking up, that something HUGE is going to be happening soon. Dunno what, when, where, why, who or how (covering all my bases), just got *that* feeling. (never had it like this before.)

i don't think so. humanity has faced extinction multiple times (though nothing as severe as what we're gonna face), and they've always pulled through. humanity in general is pretty stupid, but when backed into a corner, they tend to pull themselves together.

perhaps i'm being a bit too optimistic?

perhaps. 50 yrs? least that will be long enough for sc 2, to come out. xD
