I run GBA games on PSP's GBA emulator, so I don't have any slot 2 flashcards on my NDSL. But I have to say GBA emulators on PC are far superior than the ones on PSP as of now. I usually play a bit on PC, and if I like it I move it to PSP and play it when outside.

I play them on a.. gba.

I've forgotten that the psp has some great emulators, now I can finally play some gba titles I've always wanted to play on a handheld

(who feels comfortable playing gba roms on a pc when you have a voice in the back of your head telling you your wasting your time? Yeah.)

GBA SP II (backlit). It's the only way to go about playing GBA games.

Original GBA screen is poo.
Original SP screen lighting is poo.
Micro is too small.
DS is too big and the wasted screen space annoys me.

GBA SP II FTW.

Although I have a DS and GBA, I mostly play GBA games on the PC these days.

I enjoy the perks of emulation such as save states and video filters, and since I just plug in a 360 controller to the PC, keyboard controls aren't an issue (it's much more comfortable than the GBA/DS for long gaming sessions, although for fighting games there are some problems since you have to use either a good analog stick or a crappy d-pad).

PS: If you haven't played a GBA game in a while, TMNT is actually pretty damn good. Check it out.

The original GBA SP. I want an SP 2, I want it bad, but I can't find it anywhere. Except for brand new ones, that cost $133 around here.

Before flash cards it was VBA.
The it was my original model SP
Then DS (original)

Nowadays it is PC (kode54's VBA or VBALink for actual play, no$gba or VBA-SDL/VBAh for hacking) or my DS. The SP gets used for testing or if my DS is out of battery.

I have complete freedom as of which way to play GBA games, included an original non-backlited GBA(not SP), but I must say the GBA SP with the brighter screen is my system of choice!
The screen is awesome, controls are tight, and plus I don't feel malinconic looking at my semi-new SP all alone and untouched in favor of the DS lite.
It's true I could play GBA gamed on the DS, but the DS get it's use anyway with emulators and NDS games, when a decent GBA games gets my attention I really want it to play on the SP 2, and I also hate the borders and all that waste of space on the DSL !

I play mine on a GB Micro, the smaller screen makes everything look sharper than GBA games on a DS.
