Hacking What do I need to do when I want to update my 3DS?

Hello!
Since I'm a big noob about 3DS CFW and Homebrew stuff I decided to ask here a question.
When I launch eShop, It asks me to do a system update, however I'm afraid that if I update, it will mess up my Homebrew, CFW, etc. stuff.
So, what do I do? Do I need to install an Updater or something?
I'm using the 2011 3DS with Rosalina and Luma3DS.

If you have the latest version of luma ect you can just update the 3ds from system settings with no adverse effects. Everything will work as it should.
