Sorry if this has been asked before.

Assuming we are not banned from online services, can we update our backups or are we stuck with the version the card was dumped from?
If so, what about the games we already own and updated to a newer version, will those updates be "used" when playing a backup?

Either updated cards will be released, or you update through digital updates, noone knows.
