Emulation Weird VBA Problem

I was playing Sonic Battle on my VBA, but after a certain battle the story dialogue dissapeared. You only see a small piece of the boz, but nothing else.
Is this a bug or something? I hope it can be solved, I don't want to start over

Take the save file, get a clean rom, and try again.

Im not sure if that can help.
