Roughly seven hours till release, who is getting this game?
I think I hear some crickets....

Well, Ubisoft isn't the most popular company right now for good reason. Wii U owners, yes this game should have been released when the other consoles got theirs but, the game looks good graphically. If you have played Black Flag, expect the same visual quality, a step up from PS360 and below X1, PS4. Frame rate is stable, takes some hits driving and there is pop-in.
Overall, it is a solid port and if you want the GTA experience on Wii U.. pick this up. There is some DLC available and the multi-player experience should keep you interested for some time.

I'm glad that the multiplayer mode is in this game!!! Still not worth the 60 but I'll wait for a year or so till it's 20 or below and pick it up.

When they finally get to the part of driving that's when they cut off... just great. The one aspect I was most curious about and they don't even show how it plays though it's probably identical to the other versions anyway.
Here's your driving footage.

So it handles like RC cars too, meh...
Too bad Ubisoft decided to release just when Smash is also about to come out otherwise I wouldn't have minded to pay the full price given it had been during a different month without any Wii U titles. September would've been good (I can't remember any Wii U titles for Sept '14) because October was for Bayonetta and November for Smash.

September was for Hyrule Warriors. I'm just glad that this game is almost on par with the PS4/XBox1 versions and apparently had better rain effects than the PS4 version.

WOW!!!! Just WOW! Holy fuck! People hate on Wii U's hardware but using non x86 Hardware and hardware that developers have to LEARN how to use really does allow the console to surprise you every now and then.
