No, just comment out the
DEVKITPRO = /opt/devkitPPC
and
DEVKITPPC = /opt/devkitPPC
lines.

no there isn't. but one thing i can say is that it can access usb devices with 2.0 speeds.

Two changes I noticed in 1.4b3 are it asks you which IOS you want to use, and you press A to install wads instead of +

It also lists the wad's size in MB (Not sure if 1.3 did that)
