A software you have never seen : WA WAD patcher.

Please be sure you have installed Priiloader/Prefiix and Bootmii IOS or Bootmii Boot2.
I cannot be held responsible you cause damage on your Wii with this software.

What this software can do ?
It can edit WAD files :
- Change title ID
- Change title type (system channel, downloadable channel...)

By using this software, you can make invincible channels which won't be erased by formating or update your Wii !

The software is in French and English.
The language is automatically setted.[/p]

- Adding support of changing required IOS
- Some other things

Not exactly a new type of software, but a good effort nonetheless. Also, as the poster above me said, you should have posted this in the Wii Hacking sub forum.

It's new in a way that you can change a channel to savegame (it won't be accessible, and maybe will crash the save menu?).

We could already made invisible channels (with Hide and Seek + a .dol), but I don't think there were a GUI program to change any Title to another Title type.

Thanks for the tool (and sources? none available).
I don't know if it can be useful to end users, but it could be to few people.


Though, Why only an installer ?
No program to run directly by extracting everything in a single folder?
You need to install a lot of files in different folders?

Maybe because it contains the keys so you hide all the file in an installer? users can find or create it easily. (only a supposition, I didn't install it. I prefer stand alone programs).

This looks like a watered down, nooby version of wwpacker.

This. Definitely looks like a n00b-friendly GUI version of some of the features in wwPacker. The options for changing title type are interesting...wwpacker can't do that (I've been hex editing the TMD and ticket to do this...)

Also, the language auto-detect is broken for me as well. UI is in French. I'm using regular Windows XP SP3 Pro (not a localized version).

On Windows 7 Enterprise x64 (Taiwanese), WA WAD Patcher is showing French.
