vWii cannot be launched from RedNAND, only SysNAND. That's the reason why it appeared to be corrupted like you said. Once again, vWii can be launched ONLY from SysNAND, NOT RedNAND!

This is xenoblade chronicle Wii U VIrtual console release, not the Vwii version. This is why it's working

Wrong, they are exactly the same game.

Yes they are the same game but the VC version can be installed natively on the Wii U and run through the Virtual console using the gamepad controls. Watch the video and you'll see that when you exit the game it goes back to the Wii U menu and not the vwii which would explains why it works in rednand

Jesus christ, that has got to be the most uneducated statement I have ever read on this website. Your understanding of this is completely off-base.

It is like the 3ds where you have to install to sysnand and rednand. (If you have one)
You clearly saw it on sysnand.

To put it simply, the Xenoblade which was played on the video was the eShop version (Wii game purchased from the Wii U Store and not from the Wii Store), that's why the game runs on the Rednand without any problem. The eShop version can also be played and controlled by the gamepad without the need of wii mote.

Once again I say, that's not how it works. The eShop titles boot into vWii. Having read the Cafe SDK manuals, I know that a certain part of the system is always reserved for the home menu and it's apps when on the Wii U side. Notice anything about what it shows when he opens the home menu during Xenoverse? That's right, it's not the Wii U home menu, it's the original Wii home menu. That's because the console is not running in Cafe anymore, the Wii U has switched to vWii mode.

There's no reason why what's being shown in the video should work. People have confirmed plenty of times before now that Cafe2Wii titles also don't work in redNAND.

No need to be insulting or make condescending remark dude, like animex2k9 pointed out this is the Wii U version bought on the Wii U store which is why I believe it works in this case. And if I'm wrong which is totally cool, you might enlighten us with the right explaination...

I'm not insulting anyone, I will admit to being condescending though, and I have every right to be. Why are you completely ignoring my explanation? There is no Wii U version. The title available on the eShop is nothing more than an application that reboots the console into vWii and automatically loads the game, as well as patching in support for operating the game with the gamepad.

There is no reason why this should work, it is still booting into vWii. You know, THE THING THAT DOESN'T WORK IN REDNAND!

Basically rednand can't boot OSv0 (the vwii icon) but can boot OSv1 (the eshop titles) if the title is installed on sysnand.

You can start vWii titles if you install them from sysNAND. Because the tickets needs to be on the sysNAND.
