Hacking VS Online Battle in Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call with Gateway?

Has anyone managed to play online battles with it? My ROM is in 3dz format with the Metal Gear Solid header, I can download the 2 free DLC songs but the VS Online Battle is blacked out in my game.

I haven't played it yet, but you might have to progress in the game a bit before it's unlocked.

You need to unlock it ingame.

Mine unlocked with 1900 rhythmia after beating the first Medley Quest, then you beat the CPU in a versus battle and the both Local and Online VS modes will unlock.

It's worth trying, music is great, there will be nothing like Elite Beat Agent with all that wackiness , tons of RPG elements with you levelling up characters, abilities and items.

i just got the game, EVERYTHING is locked when you 1st start but music stages (and many songs in that are locked as well)
just keep playing so not take long to unlock most of the modes

i had the 1st one some level 99 char, no importing from the 1st game, but the demo of the game(heatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call ) dose unlocked things

Use the public headers in the first post.

Oh, I assumed they only work for the games with same filesize type flashcarts, and Theatrhythm is 2GB, while the public headers are 1GB and 4GB. Well, will give it a go, thanks.

have you done any of the quest mode stuff, i think you need to do one map in that mode

You need to finish at least 1 quest to unlock VS Mode.
Then you need to beat AI at least once in VS Mode to unlock Online VS
