I *may* do the PR, I still need to figure out how libwudrc works, I don't promise anything, but if someone beats me on the race, it's OK for me :)

Thanks mate, It would be awesome if fix94's WiiU work is added to official, of course no pressure. :)

Okay, I've also fixed the dots issue. In addition to fixing all the issues you pointed out, this version also:
- speeds up returning to the menu from the game
- fixes the border color around the cover art
- prevents crashes from trying to load files that are too big (eg: auto-loading a UPS file > 512kb would crash the emu)
- increases max file size for the above to 2MB

I've also fixed the Go Back thing for FCEUGX but I won't be putting out a beta/release just for that.

The new VBAGX beta looks and runs great, thanks

I found a small issue tho which is the folder "Artwork" is spelled without an s on the end in VBAGX, whereas in SNESGX it is "Artworks" with an s on the end, which should be made consistent with SNESGX

FCEUGX lacks both Covers Folder and Artworks Folder and doesnt have a selection in Settings Menu under Preview Image, adding this would make it consistent with SNESGX and VBAGX and perhaps justify another release of FCEUGX

I also suggest in FCEUGX making the Zapper control less sensitive with the GameCube controller, as the cursor moves very fast with GameCube controller currently

Yeah I removed the "s" because Artworks is the wrong word. I also didn't add the cover/artwork folder to FCEUGX because I'm actually not sure what the purpose is of having it in the other two anyway. I don't see it adding any value.

I see, then the "Artworks" word and folders in SNESGX should be changed instead

I only want it in FCEUGX to be consistent with SNESGX and VBAGX which have it, tho maybe others use those folders

Besides that the only other tweaks in the GX emulators that would make it perfect in my eyes in terms of user experience would be adjustment of sensitive Zapper cursor when using GameCube controller in FCEUGX, and having SNES Mouse in SNESGX less restricted on screen with both wimmote and GameCube controller

Something that I have noticed is that compared to the other two emus, vbagx takes longer to update the screenshot, like 3 times

Sorry bout the “s”, non-native english speaker here.
About the different artwork / folder options,it was done because some people wanted to display the cover artwork while others wanted the game screenshot.
My thought was, that with 2 folders, the screenshot function would not override the box art image.

Screenshots taken in vbagx are large resolution and file sizes so take longer to load, images added outside the emulator that are small file size load like the others
actually you can get a pack of no-intro screenshots and covers here - simply unzip to the respective folders

Do note that the file names have "_" in place of "&" so you will want to batch rename all the files to replace instances of "_" with "&" to match game names in no-intro format

Also note that the emulators crash when loading a image preview over 700kb and some of the boxart covers can be larger than that so you may want to remove or shrink those files

Hmmm... I am using the same set of screenshots that I have been using for years. The sizes are really small (native Game Boy resolution 144x160) and b/w
I could swear before to this update loading times were faster
