Virtua Tennis 2 Dreamcast freezes after 1-2 mins of gameplay

Hey there

As the title suggests.. I am having issues with Virtua Tennis 2 CDI on the Dreamcast.. this is the first title that i have downloaded and burned to disk that this is happenng on.. I have downloaded the game from 2 different sources and no change.. it crashes after 1-2 mins of gameplay..

Is this a common issue or do I have to do something specific?

Any hwlp would be welcome.

No,this not a common problem,if more games have this on your setup.
Get the psu out and clean the pins with isopropyl alcohol.
its a common problem that the psu pins get dirty and you get some freezes cause of that.
Or get a new psu from https://www.retropsu.com/store/
Do have more games have this on your setup?
Maybe try another source.

Does this also apply to original disc's?
Before you order yourself a new PSU, there are some fixes to the board that can be done to get it working again.
Check out the fix on mmmonkey for example, you can do that one with a toothpick.

thank you both for replying.. very grateful.. I did indeed get another copy and instead of using IMGBurn I used Diskjuggler which seems to work a treat..

if anyone else has the same inssue as me in the future try using Discjuggler with DC settings..
