hey everyone

i put down a deposit a couple of days ago for a vintage guitar

i did so cos i thought it looked cool
its fun getting things on impulse
i hope it was a worthwhile buy
yeah well comment as u will and id appreciate any tips from fellow guitarists or wt u think would look good colourwise

Clean the neck with some silica or wood oil conditioning spray, buy some D'Addario strings for it with correct thickness, swap them, and play (or learn, of you can't already). Looks like a guitar that would be fun to play, in my opinion

yh ive been playing for a while so im gonna restore it thanks for the tips

im not sure what pickups i should put in as these ones are not fuctioning properly
im thinking mabye lace ones

Are the current pickups good? You should probably keep them as spare parts if you do change them.
I'm not that good with pickups, to be honest, though I wish I was. Can't really give advice without knowing what you play :/

nah the current pickups dont work yh ill keep them
i usually play rock or blues i like clapton,beck hendrix santana led zepplin etc.
i already have a strat so im fine for those type of sounds
im thinking mabye a danelectro type sound
im not sure theres so much choice
