Viability of a system oriented to nsfw gaming

Hi to everyone,

I've got an idea that I'm 100% would never care enough to put actual effort to develop. However, I would like to know your opinions on this as an hypothesis.

I have envisioned a game system designed to play the kind of erotic games you see in banners and spam in websites. The capabilities would be similar to the Ouya or other Chinese clones, so it could run up to primitive Android games.

I know pornography is banned in many countries and that could hinder sales so the retail units wouldn't include any H+ material. What do you think about it?

It's not viable. Once your business starts dipping into pornography just banking can be difficult. And while you say retail units won't have any NSFW content on them. It will be quickly dropped by any retailer once moms start seeing the H+ store and start screaming at the poor people working a customer service desks.

You know how the Ouya was a failure because it was intended to play games most people already played on a phone or something? A potential 'horny console' would be the same thing but 10x worse, with an infinitely smaller audience for that kind of content. Most people who want that content already have a way to play it and wouldn't need such a product.

A system for playing Android games. There are a lot of them tbh, cheap Android boxes are everywhere. Not sure what your selling point would be unless yours has a fully functional genital interface.

A software platform dedicated to porn games and DLC could work. The tagline could be "too steamy for Steam" or something (Steam doesn't allow XXX titles, right?), and it could have an incognito mode so it doesn't show up in your apps or phone cache.
But unless the grips are dildos or silicone titties, and it has a built-in fleshlight, there is nothing inherently "NSFW" about a console, and no point in having a dedicated one just for porn.

But again, there are any number of cheap Android boxes available. Telling people they can play porn games on your system isn't convincing if they could equally play porn games on another Android box. Need a unique selling point.

Steam does actually allow for full XXX games nowadays. It now houses such gems as Sex with Stalin.

Why should I buy a dedicated console that will likely have crappy support and bad specs, when I could just get a USB sex toy that can interact with whatever game/software I'm using on my PC?

I think the general confusion from some above is probably better stated as "why is it not an open device that just so happens to feature*?" coupled with the what benefits are there to normal controls?
I would also join the secondary question chorus of so paypal, steam, amazon payments, apple payments, cashapp, venmo... whatever else the kids are using these days suddenly allow it all tomorrow completely without restriction (or free to 18+ as laws demand) and even allow innocuous billing terms, also you make a braindead simple sandbox (maybe download on demand within that) then what would the demand be? Playing a sub par flash game to have the end of round bonus be a picture of a set of tits would probably be one of the few times interactive media is not better with my bet being erotic text files in current space year seeing more demand. Bump up the gameplay quality to say some of the poker games and make it strip poker and you are not going to gain that much more, and trying to write stories just that so happen to feature such things just lands you back into normal game dev circles with an anchor around your potential profits that or you are back in visual novel world.

*be it generally or if the disgusting hand of the censors is in play as a somewhat curated/well honed UI "secondary/third party" (quotes left small for the sake of readability but in reality they should be 50x the size of the font) shop that is readily installed?
