Hacking Various Channel Wads for Apps

Embedded is now up, forwarder will be up in the next 3-5 minutes.

The forwarder does not have the nun chuck bug, also, it will work with Wanikoko's and the ultimate usb loader. (it reads from apps/usbloader/boot.dol)

I already have a forwarder for ultimate loader and wouldnt that cause problems if both point to the same place?

why are you using both?

I'll look into it quick, but I can't promise anything. If anything I'd point a ultimate usb loader specific one at a folder like...hmmm....uusbloader I suppose?

forwarders are finicky though, so I'll give it a shot. May or may not work for me.

Oh, and the forwarder is now up BTW.

Using both because i have been messing around with ocarina a little and its easier that way so i dont have to have the actual disc of the game i want to play.

If you can't get it to work its no biggie.I will just use your embedded one.

do I need to install "USB Loader-YABA-Forwarder.wad" and then "USB Loader 1.5-YABA.wad" ??

You can use either, The forwarder is simply a "shortcut" to read the app/program off your sd card, and the other one has the app/program inside of it, so no need for an sd card after installing it, unless you care about game cover pictures.

No point in using both, they will simply overwrite each other because they have the exact same Title ID. so pick one or the other.

USB Loader-YABA-Forwarder.wad is a forwarder so you would also need to the boot.dol file on your sd card and in your wii at all times when using it.
USB Loader 1.5-YABA.wad is a channel and once installed you dont need to have a sd card in at all unless you want to use the custom images/backgrounds feature.

hello. i should've posted in this thread instead. i have tried the USB loader 1.5 .wad (not the forwarder, another forwarder i have tried also black screens) and it shows a black screen when i try to start from the wii menu. i don't understand what could possibly be wrong. do you have any ideas why the program would successfully install on the wii menu but not go past black screen when starting?

I installed it just fine on my wii and it works without any problems.

Do you have cIOS rev 10 installed? 1.5 requires it as far as I am aware.

is there some kind of logo for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum? I couldn't find one.
