Hacking Various Channel Wads for Apps

Hmm, I may also make animated channels based off of GrandMasterJimmy1's old animated genesis channel. they'd be forwarders of course.

one request though, there is a new version of VBA out, 2.0.0 i think, and i would love to have a channel with your banner on it, without it being a forwarder...

because i hate having to put things in specific folders when they could launch direct lol

thanks if ya can

very strange because all of my other apps works(homebrew channel, wad manager and homebrew browser through the homebrew channel)
do I have to format it as FAT then? how do I do that? thanks

there are tons of utilities out there to format your drive to FAT.

Hmm....only one that I can remember off the top of my head is swissknife. Google it.

as far as FTPii, yeah, I will, when I have the time. Graphical work takes a bit of time.

Oh, and I'll be putting up individual forwarders for each emulator later today.

I formatted the SDHC card to FAT32 but still get the same error message? any ideas?
ok I tried it on a SD card and it works but on a SDHC card it doesn't work, I get that error message, so it only works on a regular SD card and not on a SDHC card? thanks

Troy in case you didn't see my post, any ideas? thanks

@bnm81002:

None of Troy's channels with forwarders work on SDHC cards (or at least the one's I've tested). I have repacked my own version of Troy's Homebrew Browser forwarder channel with an SDHC compatible forwarder that works. Check your PM.

I have also made SDHC forwarder versions of each of Troy's emulator channels. I prefer forwarders for frequently updated apps especially ones that can be automatically updated through the Homebrew Browser.

The SDHC forwarder was developed by djdynamite123 over on wadder.net

Now if I can just find a way to get the multi Emu Forwarder channel SDHC compatible. I've recompiled the source code with the latest libogc and it won't work. I'm sure somebody with a little more knowledge about code could fix it...

I replied to the PM that you sent me, thanks

are there any update channel for vbagx Version 2.0.1?
the newest one is found here is only vbagx Version 1.09

If I use a forwarder channel while having my HDD plugged in I get a code dump 97% of the times.
Anyone else experiencing this?

ScummVM crashes every time I try to exit. I read the fix posted for the SNES emu where you specify the path to exit to but ScummVM does not have the option in the app. Also checked the config file and nothing. Help please...

Updated Channel Mirrors (via Skydrive):

FCE Ultra GX 3.0.2

Snes9x GX 4.0.4

Visual Boy Advance GX 2.0.1

I thought, i'd update these as Troy isn't available to do this himself. Just to point out, these need to be replaced as they are not the same ID as Troy's please delete the older versions via wad manager.

Edit: These will be updated as soon as a new release is available (which will affect SMS+ & Gens+ when available)

I never use photobucket, as i use imageshack which is better as there are no restrictions on bandwidth when hosting images.

Anyway... just to ask, does anyone wish for me to make this easier to update by using the original IDs which Troy used? As when i use Wad Channel Updater the ID changes everytime.
