Not in the US, as if I would get picked anyways :(

I applied but I probably will not get picked, I don't suffer from any sort of motion sickness.

But the device if it does induce motion sickness in some people, that sounds like it would kick ass to me.... I want to try it out, maybe they could use me to find bugs.

From similar devices (see: Oculus Rift) most people say the first time you get really nauseous but after that you're fine. Of course this won't be the case for everyone.

Didn't get an email at all. Ahwell. Would've been neat and good for my portfolio.

Jezus, now they want free testers?
Is anybody taking this valve console market thing seriously?
I don't, shows they are affraid to enter the market and/ or poll interest....er
I'll never buy this for half-life only...lol

valve makes great games theirselfs no doubt, but they will still need 3rd party devs.
They also need professionals
Basicly everybody who can play a game can be a tester? LOL

Unless they give the console away for free and are only charging for games.

Well the only motion sickness I have ever had was with the Ride the Comix game/ride at DisneyQuest which uses the old first generation VR helmets which have horrible lag and probably only run at 10fps at best (more like 5 when you turn your head).

here comes the steambox

Personally I always refer to it as the "Steam Engine."

Did anyone not get an email? It has been 24 hours and they never sent me a verification email :(.

I didn't get mine right away so I checked back after a day and found it. Try giving it another day and make sure it didn't get lost. If it helps, add @valvesoftware.com to your whitelist or whatever.

I filled out the survey one more time, and it said I had duplicate surveys and then asked if I wanted to resend the verification email. After resending the email I received it immediately. I hope this helps anyone else who may have had problems.
