Valve and Netflix partner for 'DOTA' anime; premieres in March
DOTA: Dragon's Blood is the newly announced animated series based on the popular free-to-play MOBA. The eight-episode series comes from a collaboration between Valve and Netflix, with the animation handled by Studio MIR, which worked on The Legend of Korra and Netflix’s Voltron: Legendary Defender.

The first trailer and a synopsis for the series was also released today, giving fans a peek of what to expect:
The sweeping fantasy series tells the story of Davion, a renowned Dragon Knight devoted to wiping the scourge from the face of the world. Following encounters with a powerful, ancient eldwurm as well as the noble Princess Mirana on a secret mission of her own, Davion becomes embroiled in events much larger than he could have ever imagined.
DOTA: Dragon's Blood premieres March 25 on Netflix.
