Gaming Using US Collector's Edition codes on EU PS3

Hello all!

I've been thinking about importing a few games from the US which have a limited collector's edition or something else (Mass Effect 3 for example when released), and have so far not had an EU CE release. Are the codes for the games US-only or can I redeem them on the European PSN?

I learned the hard way . No, you cannot use your US codes on a EU account, BUT you can create another US account and download the US codes from the US PS store!

Figures.. This was something that I feared. Well looks like there is still something that can hamper importing region free PS3 titles...
