Using phone as USB storage device?

Hello. I need to reinstall my PS4 pro after buying a new harddrive.
I don't have any USB sticks laying around atm. Is it possible to reinstall PS4 firmware using an android phone, connecting it to the USB of the PlayStation 4 pro and use it to install firmware? The PS4 can't boot otherwise. Thank you.

USB stick i believe is needed. Or maybe a spare external hard drive might work. Probably needs to be fat32 mind

if your phone connect to windows as a mass storage device, i see no problem.
if it only offers filetransfer ala MTP or PTP, then it won't work.
