Hacking Using a 512GB Sd Card on Reinx with Fat32

Hello guys,
I want to use my 512gb sd Card on Reinx with Fat32. So i have formatted my Sd Card to Fat32 with a special Programm. Then I copy all files from my 32gb Card to the big one but the only thing what happened is that Reinx starts to boot and i have a Black Screen and nothing more. No reboot and no Reinx Screen.
So i have formatted the sd Card to exFat back again and Reinx is Running.
Then i put 10 Game Folders on the Sd Card but only one of them is running. The other Folders are empty and i dont know why. So i want to use my big Card in Fat32 but it doesnt running. Maybe someone can help me und Tell me why or how i can get it running.
I‘m using Reinx 2.1 on Firmware 7.0.1

Are you sure your big card is legit? Maybe it's fake. Where did you get it?

How can i see it?
I‘ve bought on eBay.
I‘m wondering about that i can boot Reinx on exFat but not on Fat32 completly. And if i start the Switch on the normal way there is no problem with the Card.
Now i‘ve try to copy only two Game files and install it but tinfoil tells me „Failed to install“ when i start the installation.

So now i try to install the same Games with my 32gb Card and it works. So i‘m sure the Problem is the other Card.
What kind of Card is the best to use it on Switch with Fat32 and 512gb?

It's not more which card brand, but more about getting a genuine card (authorized sellers and all that). Amazon hasn't steered me wrong yet. also you could save a lot of money by getting a 400gb card instead of a 512gb one (about half as much)

Ok then I will look at Amazon for a 400gb.
Is there anything special or important to look out for when buying the card? Certain features what the card must or should have?

Not really. Most cards will work just fine for a switch and will transfer files quickly. Probably'll have to format out of the box though

So for me it Looks like a normal SD Card.
I want to buy this Card when there is no special feature for the Card.

As long as you test the card with the program H2testw (tests your card for authenticity) you should be fine. Just make sure the seller has a decent amount of good reviews to minimize your chances of having to send it back for a new one

Yup, if windows doesn't allow you to format your card to fat32 you can also use rufus to do that also. After that add your cfw files and run the payload of your choice (:

So i think four and a half Stars by 3000 comments is good. I bought it now and will test when the Card arrives today.

I've got an original sandisk 400gb. it cost around 150eur / 150usd?!
If your card cost around 30 bucks, you have a fake.
it means you can see ~512gb on your PC, but if you copy lots of data to it, it only have 4gb or 8gb!
also you will have experience like this: copy errors, missing data/files/folders after copying..
please don't use fake cards with your switch. you will face a lot of problems.

If ReiNX works perfect on your 32gb you can just copy all card contents into your new 512gb.
if they are formatted the same way (FAT32 or extfat) and it doesn't work, your card have problems.

Ok Perfect.
So if the Card arrives the first what i do is checking with the programm and when all is fine then i‘ll formatted to Fat32 and then copy the files to the new Card and try to run Reinx

a micro sd card is that kind of item you don't want to buy on ebay/amazon. they are almost all fake.
you should buy at retail shop.

I hope i‘ve a little bit of luck and the Card works for me.
If I use H2testw, do I have to have the whole card tested, or is it enough to check only part of the card?

Oh yes. I‘ve seen on my old Card in this moment. After 44gb i stopped and then i let Check the System the Report and there was a defect indicated.
I‘ll Test it later with the new Card and then i post the Feedback.
