Hello, I put a 2011 WD 250GB hard disk (WD2500BPVT) in an external hard case and plugged it into a Wii, but I got an error (stuck on reinitializing devices).

I used MBR, FAT32 and Y cable

I tried a few things

1. change cable (nomal cable to a Y-shaped cable)
2. change hard disk (2008 WD 250GB)
3. change port to 1
4. only with external hard drives without using sd
5. reinstalling cios, gx

I installed cios after watching this video

What can I do now? Not using a WD hard disk?

Does anyone know the solution... please

it's going well on cfg, so I'm playing games on cfg, but I don't like it

Hello,

Do you use "Wii Backup Manager" to manage your games on your external hard drive?

Simply copying and pasting your games to the external hard drive might not work.

Please post a syscheck ( ===> SYSCHECK ) report for your Wii.

Is the external hard drive connected to port 0 of the Wii?

Is your Wii running the latest version of GX (r1283)?

1. I put the game in tiny wii backup manager.
2. Use port 0
3. It's the latest version

I've never known syscheck. Thank you for your advice. I'll get up and do it
