Hi,
I'm using a USB flash drive formatted to exFat. I have an xci file in usb:/sxos/xci.
The program finds the xci file, but when I click X to copy, it instantly changes to a (null) value. I can see in NX Shell that a file was created on the sd card, but it is 0 bytes. In other words, it isn't copying!
Any thoughts? Is there suppose to be a progress bar of sorts to give an idea if anything is copying?
Thanks in advance.
Sounds like corruption or a bug on my part.
Which value is null?
is it like usbhdd:/sxos/xci/(null) after you press X to copy?
There is a progression percentage that displays during the copying. If it is instant copying for a large file then something went wrong.
First, is your SD card full or close to full? I do not check if the destination is large enough to paste the file before trying to copy.
Can you play the xci off the hdd?
Finally, do you use a mac or windows to setup your sd card?
PS: Check out the new update and see if that helps.
Hi,
Yep, exactly as you posted: "usbhdd:/sxos/xci/(null) after you press X to copy?".
I can play the xci off the hdd. Windows user.
I'll test the new version when I get a chance and report back. Thanks for making this all the same!
Hi again,
Same result with v4, sorry...…
Although, now SXOS isn't reading my flash drives either. Tried 2 so far - not sure what's going on. I'll keep investigating.
Sounds like the issue is with your hdd. Exfat's are prone to corruption.
Mine does this too, although doesn't result in an error. My file copies across to the sd card with a filesize of 0 bytes...….i can browse my USB drive, but the sd it only shows the USBTODVD.NRO as if it was on the root of the sd and no other files there which I can then say to copy to.
If I do this, this results directly in a 2168-0002 error.
edit: I used the USBTOSDV4.zip
It copies the file to the root as 0 bytes for me to, though it also crashes horizon.Mine does this too, although doesn't result in an error. My file copies across to the sd card with a filesize of 0 bytes...….

ps. tried it running the built in homebrew loader of sx.
Hi,Do you guys put the app in a certain folder?
Could you try for me, to have it on the root of the card?
Hi,
I moved it to the root. It fixed up the folder/file structure at least (it could now see the contents of the sd card), however the same problem remains (copying a file of 0 bytes).
Tried with two different USB flash drives. One exFAT, one FAT32. Two different xci files.
Sorry.....
I have the nro in the switch folder on my sd and not on the root. I have mounted xci from usb and that works. I have not tried to mount a game, eject the game and then copy though. Will try that later if that is the test scenario.Do you guys put the app in a certain folder?

Hi,I finally was able to reproduce your errors.
Still looking into the exact causes but for now try the following.
Before loading the app, try mounting a game from the usb drive and see if it boots. If it does, close it out and then try to copy a file. It could be an error is SX's usb driver code, as after doing that I was not able to get the error again until I formatted the drive.
Hi,
Tried the above with Pokémon via USB - no change. Still copies 0 bytes.
Hi,try these steps:
copy over this new build I attached.
From the Horizon menu, plug in your USB drive.
Open SX Menu, goto homebrew, run the app and try to copy a file.
If it still copies 0 size files
Exit and mount the game you tried to copy.
Boot it and if it boots, close it.
Load the homebrew app again and try to copy.
Let me know the USB debug statuses you see at the top.
I'm guessing this app's using libusbfs to access USB drivesAny possibility of releasing the source of this? I'm really curious how SXOS deals with the USB device and am looking for anything at this point to give me a hint.
