Whats up guys, im having some trouble when trying to run Metroid Prime Trilogy on ULGX(latest version). MP 1 and 2 runs fine, but MP 3 Corruption goes on black screen after loading and my Wii freezes. I already tried changing ios from 249 to 250 and didnt fixed. Anyone know how to fix this? My MPT iso is the one with 7.6 GB.

@Cyan @alexander1970 BTW, im reading you guys are recommending using cios 249 base 57 and cios 250 base 56.

Mine are:
IOS249[56] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0, according to syscheck.

Is it recommended to change both cios? If it is, can i just download the recommended ones from modmii and install with Multi Mod Manager?

PS: My Wii is on 4.2 firmware.

Only to do is change the Base(s) from the two slots:

You have:

IOS249[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52)
IOS250[57] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52)

and this is of better game compatibility to change to

cIOS249[57]-d2x-v10-beta52-alt.wad
cIOS250[56]-d2x-v10-beta52-alt.wad

All other things you can leave by now.:)

what are you talking about, d2x-v10-beta52-alt (commonly referred as beta53) has lower compatibility: https://github.com/davebaol/d2x-cios/wiki/How-to-choose-the-d2x-distribution-fitting-your-needs

d2x-v8 final is latest stable release and is basically the same as d2x-v10 beta52
Did you turn on full/partial emunand? MP3 is not compatibilie with that.

Hi again,

Thanks for the reply.

I am confident I know how to adjust ios249 and 250 using d2x cios installer but what do I do or how do I enter the.wad files?

Great.:)

If you have the installer it downloads and installs it on your Wii:

I was asking because the bases for cios 249 and 250 exchanged, now they are recommending 249 with base 57 and 250 with base 56 and mine are 249(56) and 250(57).

Already turned off emunand, still with the same problem. The individual MP3 game works fine also.

MP3 should work with base56 or 57 and you can change the loader's global/per game seting to either 249 or 250. I would suspect its your iso. Check the sha-1 hash with WiiBackupManager.

As long as you have both bases 56/57 installed, no need to reinstall them just for the sake of recommendations

Great.:)

Hello.:)

You can try the following:

- when you start a game in USBLoaderGX (in your case Zelda) you can choose between START or SETTINGS.Please choose settings and on the next Screen GAME LOAD settings for it.There you can change your GAME IOS from GLOBAL to 249 or 250.please try it.:)

It is only what @Cyan recommends and I think he knows it best.:)

Those recommendations are for noobs starting fresh or have a very bad setup that needs to be replaced.
249/56 and 250/57 has been there for ages without problem although base 57 has a little better compatibilities and all loaders allows you to choose different cios.
Obviously base 56 is available before 57 does, so 249 (default cios for moderm loaders) with base 56 is there for historical reason.
Of course, it doesn't hurt to re-install according to the recommendation but it is not really necessary.

I think these recommendation has maybe to do with the LATEST 2 release(s) of USBLoaderGX.:)

When I try to use the Ios58-installer I get this message.

"Error
Unable to initialize network (Error # -116)"

Does anyone know what this error means? I've made a successful internet connection test prior to it.

So you know the error code I just posted? I got my IOS58 installer from here: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/IOS58_Installer

For some reason "ModMii Usage Page" does not open. I have downloaded the .exe for Windows though. I hope there is a read.me somewhere.

ModMii does not update IOS58? Or what do you mean by "it"? ("re-install it with e.g. Multi Mod Manager")

Please got to the Download Page in ModMii and download the IOS58:

This one please re-install with your WAD manager.:)
ModMii downloads it to C:\Programs or Program Files\XFlak\ModMii\COPY_TO_SD
