Rev 630 works for now, I guess I'll use that until someone figures out what went wrong in the past few revisions.

And as I said in the issue, renaming the config folder doesn't help.

Edit: Rev 656 doesn't work either.

Try this:

1) rename your config folder to config1
2) make a config folder and only add wiitdb.zip. DO NOT USE titles.txt
3) run atest gx rev.

post back. I spent three hours trying to find out why anything over 647 would not run for me to find out that titles.txt was what was killing it.

Black screen when running Wii Sports on rev 656. Same error as ever, and same error as when I simply let it create a new config folder, without a wiitdb.zip. And yeah, I have not used titles.txt for some time.

I've install cios rev14 and i have error 002 with a lot of game.
It's strange because this rev14 fix the error 002

So I have enable" fix error 002" in the loader to solve the probleme and it's ok

I would like to know why this error 002 with cios rev14 ?

cIOS rev14 no longer corrects the 002 error. It was taken out because any decent loader now contains the fix and the option of whether to use it.

If Waninkoko does not find a way to put this back in for compatibility reasons, than I hope the USB Loader GX team finds a way to make things more convenient for applying this fix after certain updates of the loader or when we choose to delete our config files. (Please don't stone me!)

This maybe wishful thinking, but it would be cool if somehow (say in the wiitdb.zip file) there would be 002 information for each game when using IOS 249. That way, the loader can read it and automatically set each game to use the option ON or OFF when using that IOS.

Yes I know it might be a dumb suggestion or one full of wishful thinking, but it's hot and I have no AC.

Why not turn the 002 fix always on globally (use the 002 fix ON option for rev14). Then all games will play just fine.

Tried that, but a few games (older ones) just gave me a black screen. Don't mind me, I was just talking out of my ass. LOL

While downloading NORMAL covers or disc images

first time it done this with no lag afterward.

Second time I tried to reproduce same thing with success and with some major lag in the GX app menu.

The third time I tried to reproduce it, it didn't change text but instead when scrolling down through the names it froze up to the point I had to power on/off.

After this I started fresh,

Deleting the sd and starting with a fresh install with only:

/altdol/ 6 dols for games (don't think they matter though I didn't use them)
/apps/usbloader_gx/icon.png & meta.xml & boot.dol(r657 or 658 or 659 or 660)
/config/ empty(nothing in it)
/images/nocover.png & 191 images, no duplicates
/images/discs/nodisc.png & 126 images, no duplicates

and I reproduced the same funcky characters as before but with no freeze

tried it again not making any changes and got the same characters with a lot of lag

Go "back to wii menu" with the back to option and then enter the GX menu again problems corrected until I attempt to download NORMAL cover or discs.

I then made a copy of a pic and named it the 1 missing cover and tried to update the NORMAL covers it found none missing and returned to the menu then upon scrolling through the names it froze but did not have funky characters.

I powered on/off

I scrolled up and down through the names 15 times and nothing.

next time I try to download covers I got funky again with slight lag in the menu but was able to reset GX with "back to wii menu" option.

reverted to every rev back to 657 and same thing I didn't go any further than that.
went to downloaded disc images it initialized connection with server and I then canceled before it started in the "continue or cancel" and got the same symptoms with funky characters

All games play as before with no problems except for the 002 errors I have not corrected with a config file.

What do you think ???? 1TB HD ???? to many pics for the wii memory ???? some kind of refresh rate problem ????

I just did a full update from server to r661 and same thing is happening.

any suggestions from someone without a sarcastic answer would be appreciated

Was about to say I had the same problem as choked did with the strange characters after downloading covers but this seems to have stopped now with r661.

Had tried updating manually and via wifi both of which would do the same thing so thought I would try the update this morning and can't seem to replicate the odd characters and lag experienced before.

On another note i'm on v3.4 (I think) is it safe to do a system update to the latest version 4 menu as I don't want to lose the function to use this loader as it's such a lifesaver...saves the kids messing with the discs anyway.

Has anyone experienced wiiware wads not installing since updating to rev14 (249) mine just hangs ther esaying installing now ? strange.

Not too clued up on changing the languages. Have you read the readme:

place this one german.lang into your language Path and select german of course in the loader gui settings.

which reminds me of a request i was going to suggest:

can we have more granularity on the parental lock please.. over which features get locked.. e,g, i'd like to leave the install games button, but hide the game settings.. things like that. at the moment its all or nothing i think, or was last time i looked.
