So as far as the path http://wiitdb....... that doesnt really matter? Im sorry if i sound stupid, just not sure what to do with that.

You don't have to do anything with that. The loader automatically downloads covers and wiitdbs from that site when you press A while your cursor is over the cover image in list mode. Assuming you have internet access on your Wii via wifi. The disc/image paths define whereabouts on your SD/USB those files are located.

Hmm. With revision 633. When I press (2) to get info about Wii Sports Resort and then press to go back, I get code dump screen. First one is:

Exception (DSI) Occurred!

Followed by lots of numbers.

Then it says 'Restarting 10...9...8...'

Doesn't restart, dumps again, this time saying:

Exception (Program) Occurred!

Followed by lots of numbers and the restart countdown.

Any suggestions please? Only seems to happen on Wii Sports Resort.

EDIT: It is also doing the same thing when I goto 'Favourites' (I have none set by the way). But it freezes, then code dumps with the same 'Exception (Program) Occurred!'.

4.1E PAL Wii. cIOS 13b. GX v633. None of this occurred on previous builds.

EDIT: The problem is something to do with my Wiitdb.zip file. When I remove it from the SD card, I cannot replicate the issues above.

So put 630 DOL back on card. Reupdated to 633. Regenerated the wiitdb.zip file. Problem with Wii Sports Resort is back again, however the favourites bug I cannot replicate anymore.

Nobody has any input or answer to this!?

This has been discussed off and on for the last 20 pages of this thread. The coders are working on it. These are not "official releases" so if you find a bug just report it. If there is an easy fix it's in the last 20 pages.

I've started again but this time I installed the channel instead of the forwader, and now I can boot the channel without an SD card which I couldn't do when I installed with the forwarder.

I have also put the config folder and stuff on the HDD I then launch the loader then check the custom paths in the settings it says SD still instead of USB. Its like its just ignoring the config folder on my HDD.

Anyone know what's wrong?

@ anyone...

Does the channel even need config files on SD/USB?

yes it needs config files
They contain (game) settings, gamecount,...
where else would these get stored?

Not sure where else they would get stored as I still don't understand why anyone would rather use the channel over the forwarder. Much easier to revert to a previous revision with the forwarder if the newest one has issues. I also didn't know if the channel created a save file on the wii system or something like that.

The reason im not using the forwarder is because it won't launch unless ive got the SD card in and I cant figure out why.

Because the forwarder loads the loader off the SD card. That's what a forwarder does!

First off, the forwarder loads the loader off the SD card if the loader is ON the SD card. If you have the loader on your USB and not on SD at all then it will load it from USB. The loader checks the SD first and then the USB.

@ justinvw
Did you delete your config files off of both your SD and USB and then let the loader generate them itself on your USB when you booted? If you just copied them over to USB from SD then you might want to delete them and just let the loader generate them.
