the new HBC link, its great but it would be nice if it could be hidden when loader is locked.
I totally agree, just had my son ask what that was this morning. Next thing you know he'll be putting stuff on there he seen on youtube. lol
Even better is that they can make something so we can choose ourselves what gets locked. Like a checklist that can be added in the Parental control menu.

Rev 632 now allows locking of HBC feature

add filesize function to get size of dols.

change homebrew icon image and move it a bit.

hide the homebrew button if godmode!=1

maybe fix issue 722 . i don't have a spare drive to test it.

fix grammatical error in the settings.

fix long game name overflow on the gameinfo screen

switch the homebrew buttons to use the new HBCwindowprompt(). none of the
meta.xml data is passed yet so the prompt looks pretty naked.

this is only cosmetic* but it'd be nice if the all the graphics glitches during loading could be fixed/hidden

there's the full red screen during loading of the forwarder (all recent versions of forwarder)
then the loader splash screen (ok).
then loader starts..
then you get the garbled green/static screen when loading loader
then carousel appears (ok)

*makes the process look rather dodgy for other wii users!
it does actually work reliably though so that's the main thing.

3.2E PAL Wii, CIOS rev10, forwarder 2009-06-16, GX rev 318
edit: sorry its GX r618, brain fart!

Hmm. I don't seem to get any of that garbage before GX loads.

4.1E PAL Wii, cIOS rev13b, latest forwarder, GX rev 629. You're using an early revision of GX, maybe its that?

does anyone know if you can load games back to back with r10 ?
If you mean starting a new game after you quit one: yes. Works until rev12

brilliant thanks is there any down side to using an older version ? also to install r12 i just install an r12 wad file right ?

No downside to using rev12. I use it for the one game I have that needs it (De Blob). Download the rev12 installer though and run a network installation if possible. No need for a WAD unless you need to do an offline installation and in that case you need the official IOS 38 WAD.

I'm too have the garbled green/static screen when loading loader, when load it with with forwarder. I have r630 and latest forwarder. In rev 5XX everything was alright.

Delete your config and your witdb, replace your r630 dol with an older revision, then update using the loader update feature to get the new revision and the correct wiitdb. This fixed the green screen for me.

***Anyone have a dol of r632/r633?

I too encountered the green static screen when i upgraded to r630. I was also getting code dump each time I launched a game. When I downgraded back to r620, all is ok.

I then tested r630 on another SD Card, encountered the green screen again but this time no code dump when launching a game. However when I tried to load Mortal Kombat and Medal of Honor 2 using the alt dol method (RM2P69.dol and RM2P69.dol in root SD), this is the result below.

MK = Black screen, did not work.
MOH 2 = Game loaded fine
Anyone experienced this?

Both games could be loaded with alt dol on r620 without any problems.

BTW the new features in r630 looks great apart from the glitches. Great job!

3.2 U PAL Wii, cIOS rev13, latest forwarder

Did you try the fix in my post above yours?

Thank You for locking that homebrew tab. I also think it would be really nice to have say a checklist of things you could lock out but I more than like it the way it is.

Much props to you all,
ChokeD

EDIT:
The "Wii" button still says "Back to HBC or Wii menu" and does not give you the option to go to HBC.

is it just me or does this happen to everyone,

everytime I download cover art then go to launch a game I get a code dump.

is this normal?

PS: anyone know when the cover art site is going to be back?

The only downside I have found to rev12 is the on SMG the intro (bowser stealing the princess) skips, if I play it on rev10 or hermes 222 (36 or 36merge37) it runs fine, I assume this is something to do with my setup and using a cIOS based on IOS38, I also think that I experience better load times on rev10 than 12, but that could be in my mind.

That was an issue in older revisions. Which revision are you using?

How many times do you want to watch it? Id rarther jump straight to the Game!
