OK that explains why you are getting the loading screen then what is happening is you are loading the forwarder which is then loading the normal dol from either usb or SD that is why you get the loading screen. There is no way around that if you have to use the forwarder dol as it is going to take time to load.
If you follow my procedure but don't use the forwarder dol but use the r???.dol instead there will be no loading screen. The only problem doing it this way is that you cannot use the online update and have to manually update but that isn't so difficult place the new dol (when there is a later one that you want to install) onto the root of SD card in same way as first load hold reset when preloader comes up then install file then you will get new version automatically loading.
What you have to decide is which is more important to you no loading screen or being able to update online?
