Hacking USB Loader GX

Loader 464 + cIOS38 Rev13b. Bugs I have experienced

- Hermes cIOS 222 is no longer working in USB laoder, a message appears "You don't have cIOS222," the loader will then code dump. Anytitle deleter shows IOS222 has been installed.
- I need to power off the Wii between games or the loader will hang.
- I get cursor drift after using some menus.
- My controller is slow to be detected after loader runs up.

Just installed USB Loader GX and I'm loving it. Except what user Mantis41 already says:
- I need to power off the Wii between games or the loader will hang.

Do others USB Loaders do the same? You must turn off Wii between games?

Very annoying...

i've only one request.. it'd be nice to have a way to get back to the loader from a game (without rebooting the whole wii) anyone know if this is possible please?

oh about the forwarder, anyone else updated to latest 4th June version? stack dumps for me, had to go back to last version. might be a bug here..

love the new settings menu bt found some more bugs in the 466 revision

when i change the password i loose the option to unlock meaning i can't change any settings (removing the config files from sd card resets this but everytime i change password and reboot i cannot unlock as option is gone)

also when i change background music and exit back to settings i get a code dump

Hmm let me look into it quick.

EDIT:

Fixed the update bug you mentioned. It was just the wrong message. It should have been "you need to unlock console".
Fixed the unlock bug.

Still cant reconstruct the codedump with music change.

ah!! there was one more bug i found...when trying to update it would only display an error message saying no sd card inserted....

tried it with several sd cards and got same result even got same result on original sd card i used since first release of this loader


edit: let me try again with the music thing...

edit 2: can't unlock the loader even when deleting the config files so can't change background music to try and reproduce the error

No problem with ExciteBots here. What's you're cIOS revision? Mine's rev10 still.

OK i have updated the Channels:

full channel based now on r468

changed the the channel animation (smooth fade in and logo animation)
changed some graphics for smaller channel sizes

add a new vid from the channel in the main post. if anyone can create a vid with beter quality he is welcome

Anyone else having issues with Boom Blox (NTSC-U) locking up on them? cIOS_rev10, GX rev 464.

Still looking for an answer on my question about what cIOS to install for best USB2.0 performance.
