Why don't you just look in the credits screen? Drayx put a lot of hard work into putting the auto including the revision number.

I was playing Boom Blox pal today with no problem
loader v457
cIOS ver10.

Weird. I tried it with a totally different loader and also had a problem. I even deleted it and re-ripped the disk to the Wii via GX and it still gave me the problem. Still a problem after updating to GX rev 469.

Maybe I should try the PAL release!

To people who're having problems with loading games (having to shut down between each game, etc), try changing your cIOS38.

I rolled back my cIOS38 from Rev 13b to 12 and now all my games work fine, I can safely reset and load another game without lockups, and they even load a little faster too.


Bottom line is, there's a clusterfuck of cIOSes and loaders out there, and your mileage may vary.

the pack at my site is mirror of the file at the first post so it is not my fault

And you are right, they are named with 4 characters when it should have been "6 or 3 characters". I will try fix the names but it is difficult since if I reduce them to 3 some will be overwritten and I can't add random characters to make them 6. So wait for NeoRama (I think it was him) to upload a new pack.

Weird but I think the loader should check also for 4 characters (at least that's what I saw at source). Check that you have set the correct path for your disc images. A common mistake is the last letter of disc. Some use disk others disc

Im sure its correct, If I do the download option from the loader it just puts the correct named png in the folder as in the config. So I will end up with say rdpe.png and a rdpe41.png ect.... the 41 is correct the other is not.

make sure you didn't got the old pack which had wrong sizes. The new one was released at 30/5/2009

Thanks. I've seen the FAQ before your post and i know it's there. But is this a limitation for all USB Loaders?

If they are using cIOS 13b that should be the case

for the latest official channel (r468 - 2009/06/06), the new official forwarder (2009/06/06), official covers (2009/05/28) and discs (2009/05/30) packs, language files, old hermes 222 which was compatible, Waninkoko's cIOS38 v13b plus anything else that worth the space

You can also grab the now outdated pack of Version 1.0 for the icon and meta file.

People who cant load the loader or having some troubles
they should try to use .ELF
since .ELF is a lot more accurate in processing code​

I hate to sound like a begger, but could you guys make it so you can load disk/covers and all necessary files from USB? Btw, i get code dumps when i start the loader with a gamecube controller in the port in rev464, havent tried newer revs yet. Nice work though this loader has it all, beautiful UI, great features, lots of flexibility. Just PLEASE get the USB thing to work?

I tried a couple of the newer revisions of USBloader GX but I noticed that it takes about 3 seconds longer before the games appear. The earlier version I use (without the update feature, etc.) is much faster. Immediately after the interface appears the games appear too.
Does anybody know what the causes the newer versions to load longer? I tried both the forwarder and the channel versions, but all the newer revisions have the "slower load" problem. I saw it happening on one of the vids too. So it's a common thing.
I guess for everybody who wants quicker startup loading times, try the one of the earlier builds.

I have the same request. The loader is too long for start !

keeps getting better and better, although gamelist loading time could improve as mentioned
i just updated to r469, only bug i noticed was the sd card icon is covering up first number of hard drive space #
hopefully we see titlemenu wfbs implemented soon
