this loader is taking shape very nicely. now only if the settings save is enabled, it would be perfect.

have a question, how do I customize the color of the text for the region, game id, # of games installed, free memory size?

screen size related question: I am playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour All Play 09 (PAL) on NTSC-U Wii. I have the wii and config set to widescreen (16:9) and Forced to NTSC and Video Patch turned "ON", but the game seems to show with the vertical stretched beyond the top and bottom borders of the screen.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how i can have the game screen match my widescreen tv borders?

I thought that the loader has the ability to download the covers automatically...

Does... and will again. They were having issues with it causing the initial load times slow way down. So they disabled it to keep working on other issues and will turn it back on before final release.

USB Loader GUI r149 WAD

This is not Widescreen!
This is not a forwarder!

Changes:
Removed back to HBC button, only Back and Wii Menu
Set default video to System Default
Changed menu music to better menu music
Changed parental lock from AB121B to ab121b

QUOTE(jarod71 @ Apr 25 2009, 12:16 AM) this is a great wad! however, I am on widescreen but the globe for wii and settings sits much higher on my screen and are reversed from your image? is that correct?

sorry about that, you are right! I just tried to put the images together quick in photoshop so you could get the idea.

Hello

Sometimes we like to go out and get drunk. We also sleep from time to time. I think the German team members caught a Hasselhoff marathon on TV.

Wow, this loader is really doing great. What I really would love to see next is the individual game settings, so I don`t have to change the settings everytime... Imo that is more important than cosmetic changes. But still this is looking great!

I'm a noob programmer, but I think Changelog could be:

Some optimizations on code
Now Loader supports change IOS about to work (IOS222 or IOS249) with a new config file command.

Correct me if I'm wrong...

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
