no just that if everything has a exact place the coders can make the app know where to read it from, if they are in folders that have different names the wad file (which is not in that folder) does not have a clue where to look.

I may be wrong but just my thoughts.

Cheers.

Just curious, why does the add(install)/delete function require unlocking everytime. It is quite cumbersome to type in AB121B at every reboot. Maybe there is a good reason for this...can anyone enlighten this soul?
Because half the people were B&$%ing about their kids being able to delete games. if you want t not have to use the passcode every time, wait till its actually done, or use an older version.

Even jesus couldn't please everybody.

Ok not sure if it is is something that was fixed in v116 or if it is an intermittent problem but the two games that crashed when installing (wall-e & spider-man: web of shadows) have now installed ok.

Will be installing more games later.

Cheers

Jussipiki, I prefer the Beta, easier on the eye

nice work

suggestion
1 - home and options button a bit bluer
2 - less transparency when clicking on load

since you have added "display region instead of the game ID", I think you may also try "display the producer or publisher", that can be idedtified from the last two digits of the ID. The list of the producers or pblishers can be put in a seperate text file.

you can read almost everything and dislpay it but soon the screen will be crowded with information about the game. i have an idea but don't know if it's worth it

Hi, first off all great work on yet another wonderfull loader.

1 question though.

My PAL wii is currently in PAL 60 mode widescreen.

When i start the GUILoader, the background looks oversized. On all sides off the background i'm missing a bit of it.

How can i fix this or will there be a release off the loader that will fix this problem automatically?

I think there is still some space left in the game launch menu around the disc image.

I've once made a mock of GUI dispalying a flag to show the region and the brand logo of the producer and publisher.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
