Drive is a WD 6TB Elements Portable External HD - WDBHJS0060BBK-WESN
did you download the tool from the link I sent? I get this error with an older version. Also, you have to select 64 instead 32K!!!!!!

hey guys, see my script to organizer game cube and wii files

So I have an interesting issue, I am using the USB Loader GX through the vWii on the WiiU. I know that the vWii can see it because its able to install all of the files through it for the homebrew channel. However, when I launch the USB Loader GX, its not seeing the SD card or any of the files on it. The card is FAT32 formatted with the 32K allocation, the naming is correct on all of the games and folders. Does anyone know why GX wouldn't be seeing the SD card at all?

im sure this has been talked about before, but i was wondering if we could ever see dithering filter toggle in USB Loader GX?
Yeah. As I explained elsewhere a few days ago, the option isn't offered in USB Loader GX because it makes most games look worse.

If I ever create a universal patch that only disables dithering for alpha blending, I'd likely include that as an option, since I'd expect it to cause far fewer issues. However, I'm not currently working on anything like that.

Have you used a partition manager to check that the FAT32 partition is the first partition? And you're using USB Loader GX r1283, right?

Hello,i am trying to play on my wii again after three years, and after much much looking, couldnt find a solution, firstly what i did was update the CIOs and download the new version of USB loader gx but, when i open it i cant get out of loading resources,i tried opening it without a drive and it was all without any icons... i dont really know what to do

hi, i was wondering if there was a way to 'merge' nand with emuNand.. or maybe somehow extract installed games/channels from one to another via ftp or another utility..

basically, i have a bunch of VC games on system nand, a bunch more on SD card menu, and bunch already installed on USBLGX emuNand. i would like to have everything on emuNand on my SD card, but as i understand it, if i dump nand now it will overwrite my emuNand installs.. and also i cant possibly move all my SD menu games over to nand in order to dump them all at once, many will be left over.

so is my only option to dump as much as possible and then reinstall the remaining titles with USBLGX wad installer, or am i overlooking something? i'm just getting back up to speed after having the wii & wii u stored away for a couple years so thanks in advance.

I just set up a Wii RVL-001 4.3E following - https://wii.hacks.guide/modmii. When running GC games just from within Nintendont, I can push the home button and return to the HBL. When I start a GC game from within ULGX and than press the home button the Wii crashes and needs a hard reset. Could this be a bug or is there a setting that I'm missing?

It seems that I'm not the only person with this issue

You could try to delete apps/usbloader_gx and then reinstall the loader. But it could be that the contents of the drive is corrupt.

Nobody has released a tool that can do that, and I don't think anyone will anytime soon, since it's not as simple as copying some files or folders over other files or folders.

If you created that EmuNAND years ago, it will likely be problematic, since older versions of the loader didn't install shared content correctly. This can cause some games to not work, so the only reliable way to fix it is to create a new EmuNAND.

You might be able to use SaveGame Manager GX to mount the EmuNAND and transfer some saves. But I've found that app to be buggy and frustrating to work with 😅

Could this be a bug or is there a setting that I'm missing?
It's a known issue that's already fixed for the next update.

Hello everyone! I just noticed some strange issue that might not be related to USB Loader GX, but since it's the only software I have recently updated, I'm kinda shooting in the dark (sorry about that)...

All my emulators which rely on a bar to navigate through folders (FCEUX, SNES9X, MEDNAFEN, etc.) are now automatically scrolling down to the bottom of the list, and return to it if I try to navigate manually?

Also, they all make that "motor" sound when you stand on a button?

Could it be in any way related to USB Loader GX or the cIOS?

Sorry if I'm being silly, but the fact that several softwares from different creators are affected make me suspect it could be related to the cIOS they rely on.

Yours truly.

Unrelated, emulators don't even use cios. Sounds like a controller issue
I should have mentioned I tried several wiimotes. But well, if you say Cios aren't used by these softwares, I guess I should try to reach one of the authors.

UPDATE : I found out about the issue. It was related to the gamecube controller, which apparently wasn't set on "neutral"! Not related to USB Loader GX, sorry for the inconvenience!

Hey there, apologies if this has been mentioned already and I missed it -

After creating an emunand with the latest version, is there a way to add wii saves to the emunand? My guess would be to set change the setting to have it read from the wii's regular nand instead, but was hoping there was a way to add it into emunand since the wii's internal memory is limited. Thanks all.

Games cannot be started with saves stored in EmuNAND in SD. Will this issue be fixed?
There isn't really anything to fix, as the issue stems from a cIOS limitation. That said, I may attempt to work around that limitation in the future, but at the moment I'm focused on other changes for the next USB Loader GX update.

If you want to import saves from your real NAND then you can go to Settings, select Miscellaneous Settings, and then you should find Export All Saves to EmuNAND.

And there's also this...
You might be able to use SaveGame Manager GX to mount the EmuNAND and transfer some saves. But I've found that app to be buggy and frustrating to work with 😅

Which is the prefered method of playing gamecube games, via Nintendont or USB Loader GX? I have homebrew installed via the sd card, but my gamecube games are stored on a USB-drive. I can play the games from Nintendont, but I cant change the "path" on USB Loader GX settings, I can only see the sd:// options, don't get the USB-option. I want the USB Loader GX -alternative so I can flip through my games with visable covers. Also, do you have to go into USB Loader GX in order to flip through your games with covers, or is there a way of having this on the start screen?

USB loader GX show gc games on sd and usb at the same time, even the loader have the nintendont configs on the section "game loader"

I moved all my the homebrew apps from the sd card over to an external hdd, and the games that were stored on a usb. But know I can't start usb loader gx or any games. I'm guessing I have to re-install some of the data. But how do I know where to start?
