Downloading from GitHub fixed it, thank you!
Great :)

I've let the people who run the Open Shop Channel know that they've got an issue. So hopefully it's fixed in a timely manner, since a lot of guides link to their mirror and it's currently spreading around a bad copy.

EDIT: They've fixed it.

I have japanese wii u, I noticed some ntsc-u wii game wont boot unless game languange setting set to english.

Is there any chance on next release, you can add option to set game languange to game/disc default instead console default ?

The loader should automaticlly apply a compatible language as long as you've got WiiTDB installed.

Settings > Updates > WiiTDB.xml

Without this database the loader doesn't know what languages a game will support.

When it doesn't boot normally I'd assume you've added or removed a game (Wii, GC or EmuNAND), since that'll trigger the loader to automatically rebuild the cache files.

Based on the USB HDD activity LED it looks like files are being searched for, but the seek/access time is abnormally long
  • If enabled, where are your EmuNAND files located?
  • Does your theme load any custom music?
  • If you disable caching (settings > features > cache titles) is booting always slow?
  • Have you tried resetting the loader to it's default settings?
  • Have you tried setting the loaders IOS to 251 and then restarting the loader?

Are they different brands or models and do they all contain the exact same content?

Emunand is on USB my sd card and hard drive have the exact same contents i tried booting emunand from sd but the problem is still there my theme has no custom music it happens with the default theme too the loader settings are default they are different brand hard drives i will disable caching and set the loader ios to 251 and see if it helps thanks for your help.

I havent tried cios 251 yet but i set the loader ios to 58 and that fixed it for me. Thank you for your coding efforts on this loader and for adding sd card support and everything else.

It was a feature that I added in r1280 to improve compatibility :)

The problem with IOS 58 is that the loader can become unresponsive if you leave it to idle for a while. That's why I suggested cIOS 251 (base 58), since that might fix everything for you.

I had a similar trouble, sometime i select a game and the loader freeze, or freeze when i select start or when i move between pages a little fast.
Maybe can be the USB drive or the SD card.
Post automatically merged:

Update: The loader crashed (not freezed, CRASHED) when the loader boot and i select the homebrew menu.

Check both for corruption with chkdsk.

Also be sure that you're using the correct cluster size (32k or 64k).

The issue seems to be caused by how WiiFlow launches some channels.

In WiiFlow select the UNEO channel, go to it's setting and then turn on Custom.
