I already tried that, I just want to be able to keep certain region saves with certain region saves, mainly for convenience than anything else. :S

Alright, well ModMii just told me something that is a bit unnerving. it says that the region has to be the same as my actual Wii in order to allow for simultaneous syncing. Is there possibly a way around that or no?

You can have different region wii in the nand Sneek. For the sync, just copy your wiimote sync with USBloader GX !

Quick question: is it normal for games loaded from emunand (cios) to black screen when reset? (Home menu->reset)
Can't remember if it's always been like that or not...
Wii menu takes me to the loader (as expected) and I'm not sure but I think trying to launch the manual black screens as well...
Normal behavior or issues? (R1262 on vWii)
Thanks as always!

Btw, I'm referring to wiiware. Such as Sonic 4 for instance. Just in case it makes any difference.

Alternate test build is up: https://github.com/GreyWolfSC/usbloadergx/releases

This is not official or necessarily deemed stable. It required recompiling the custom FAT module and libtremor. :P

New Nintendont settings are included. I couldn't find anything wrong with the NIN Wii U widescreen options. I may have to look back at the issue in the thread if it's still not working as expected.

Please try to put issues with this build on GitHub if you can. Don't bug Cyan about it unless he merges it with the official source. :)
Great! Do you need me to try something in particular? Regarding wiiu widescreen. Its not that there were any issues with the feature, I was just asking for the same exact setting but on a per game basis.
Are there any other "new nintendont options" besides support for the gcn bios?

Alright, because I am still sort of new to this.~ ^^' After getting everything set up I have the nswitch (neek2o wad) installed on my hard drive. Is there anything else I need now or am I ready to set up the NANDs?

If you have everything setup, you are ok to proceed. Just be sure your drive is MBR, Primary and FAT32. That's the only thing you have to be sure now and if it's fail, check in this way to troubleshooting.

You should be able to override the widescreen setting in the loader settings for the game. Let me know if it's not working. New Nintendont options were the BIOS skip and CC rumble. (I'm assuming that's the CC Pro and I don't have one.)

Greywolf, thank you for your work updating the sources for devkitPPC r28 :)

Is there an easy way to generate a patch or diff from github?

The commit essentially is a diff but I'll try to generate one from my local copy for you.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

@Jeff Lavenz Can you PM me a copy of both SYSCONF files? The one from your real NAND dump and the one from your NTSC-J dump. I can try replacing the Bluetooth settings in the Japanese one if you like. Make sure you label them so I know which is which. :)

I actually tried putting the sysconf files from the US NAND dump in my thing, I'm going to play it safe, though, and redo the nands. I'll still PM you my sysconf file, but I may need you to work with it to replace my BT settings. I also have a European emuNAND so I may need you to also do the same thing with a PAL SYSCONF, that is if you have one on hand. :/

If I can get the settings copied from one to the other I'll just post how to do it. :)

The sysconf file is divided up into chunks for each setting type so it should be possible to just replace the Bluetooth data in it.

Mmmm... doubt that its referring to the CC Pro since, AFAIK there are no motors in the controller...
So the "auto" aspect ratio from Nintendont has not been added to the loader yet?
And last but not least, the option to skip the bios is, well, OPTIONAL. Right?
Thanks!

*EDIT* You're right. Just read the Nintendont commit and the rumble is for the CC Pro. To be precise for the WiiMote when the CC Pro is connected (I don't see the point in that but... whatever)

usbloader gx failed to initialize the USB storage device then it switches to the wii menu is there any fix for this

Could you provide a little more information?

What revision of USB Loader GX? (The "r" number)
What kind of storage device are you using?
Is it plugged into port 0?

Mmm... Maybe your problem comes from using a thumbdrive. Maybe try with a difderent one? Thumbdrives compatilibity is spoty at best... Usually a HDD is recommended.
