When I enter usbloader I get the standard black loading screen then when that has passed I have a massive hang before my games show(takes around 2 mins). It also happens when I enter the settings and go back to my game list. I pressumed it cached my games for a quicker loading but it doesn't seem to do it. If I use wiiflow I don't get this issue but I would rather use usbloader as Imo it's the better loader. Is there anything I can do to stop this or at least shorten the loading time.

you have a lot of games?
I saw a video from a user with a lot of game and the loader needed few (long) seconds to display them.

There is a cache for the titles, but not for the game list.
It has been requested, I'll see how to add that feature to help users with lot of games.

until then, maybe you should limit the displayed game (only Wii, or only WiiWare, or only Gamecube, etc.)

Don't even know if this is really a issue with usbloader gx or not but when i use the newest revision of nintendont, (v3.344), and i load a game, resident evil re-make using force 480p i get a black screen before it tries to load nintendont to load up the actual game. Switching back to the previous revision that i am using, (v3.333), force 480p works fine through usb loader gx. I am using the newest revision of usb loader gx, v1246.

Yes I have 600+ gamecube games on this drive. I rarely add titles to this harddrive as it's nearly a full set so a game list cache would be amazing for someone like me.

It's an annoyance more then a bug. I would love it to be fixed but I can live with it

Cyan or anyone for that matter.
Is there an emunand compatibility table somewhere? And if there is, could you point me to it?
I'm having some issues with a couple of games and I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end or if they're incompatible with emunand.
Sonic 4 is one of those for example.
It freezes at a black screen and that's it.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Edit: Disregard. It was a very minor issue. I was just pointing out an issue with WiiMC, wondering if something was wrong with my setup, but reverted to a setup that allowed the forwarder to work since it wouldn't boot from the Homebrew Menu.

I remember there was one I used back then when I made mine but I lost the link, it wasn't very accurate though I'd say that, and they listed all N64 titles as working because they mentioned the rev17 method which I could never get to work nor did it work when I got one from another user here, some N64 titles work normally though like Mario 64 and Mario Kart but the majority don't work, anyway I tested with NEEK2O before and they ran fine so just wait for that!

it's called "channel" but you can add Wii games to that list too. just add a new table using the same model. I'll rename the page to reflect better the compatibility purpose.

For a long time, nobody cared to create a compatibility list, so there's no full list.
There were one for Triiforce/Mighty channel, but they used old cIOS, not d2x so I thought USBLoaderGX needed a list with different cIOS version.
I created this one recently, but it's lacking completeness.

game I know doesn't work with cIOS EmuNAND :
Legend of Zelda, Skyward sword. Tested with d2x v7

edit:
Added Wii games to the list.

Cyan, would you happen to know how to install DLC for say, MegaMan 9/10? I'm not sure if I have or not.
What I did was: Install Megaman on emuNAND with ShowmiiWads. Launched from console creating a save file. And then Installed the DLC files from within USBLOADER GX.
Is that how it's done?

On WiiU, it can make a proper 4:3 video mode, but the Wii doesn't use a real widescreen (it's always the same amount of pixel, only the content displayed on that amount of pixel is different)
one affects the video, the other the game's rendering engine.
It's hard to explain sorry.
It would need a picture to properly explain it.

I can add the option per game but it will work only on WiiU, I don't like the idea of having a per game option not working on Wii (or I could hide it completely while on Wii).
I understand some games might benefit the aspect ratio switch, that's why I added it in the features menu. for games needing it you can set the screen at the correct ratio before launching the game.
it's a little annoying to do it manually before launch, but it's not something you will need to do everyday or with all games.
if it's really a high request from users, I can add it as a per-game setting.
Found another game that would benefit from a "per-game" WiiU Widescreen option:
House of the Dead 2 & 3.
The damn thing "fakes" widescreen but its pretty clear tha it's running in 4:3... Damn SEGA

it's fully playable using the latest UNeek2O beta revisions. it was fixed some time ago I think roughly about 2 years ago it got fixed

I just use ShowMiiWads to install the game and DLC to the EmuNAND it works that way for me without any issues.

I'm like the opposite, I always use GX to install wads and for both Megaman 9 and 10 I got the DLC working just fine!

Of course it is, but we are talking here about using cIOS to redirect the savegame to external device, not neek2o.
As Cyan said, Skyward doesn't work with any D2X cIOS + cIOS emuNAND.
But it does work with uLoader + cIOS 222 + cIOS (222) emuNAND.

uLoader has an emuNAND for redirecting wii games saves too?
I thought it was only to play wad files directly from SD.

I never tried to use emuNAND in USBLoaderGX with one of hermes cIOS.

Yes, uLoader can redirect Wii savegames to USB. If you try that, GX will tell you that emuNAND is not compatible with Hermes cIOS, and prompt you to use D2X cIOS instead.
uLoader do not play wad files directly from SD, it directly installs wad channels found in sd:/nand/install or usb:/nand/install to the emuNAND. After installation, uLoader deletes the wad files.

yes, I hope to release something this weekend.
I still need to test path on root and I should be good for a release.

I didn't test vWii yet, but as neek2o is beta on vwii maybe I shouldn't waste too much time on it as not a lot of user have it.
Most users will use neek2o on Wii and that's the main functionality. It works fine and should be released.

Though, I don't like releasing with untested things :(

I will probably remove the "temporary/default" feature.
All game launching will set the current game's path as default emuNAND for neek. it fixes some game/channel reloading.

Hey, I have a question. I have softmodded a friend's Wii U, and got all her gamecube games loaded through usbloader... but for some reason, when we try to rip some wii games, the progress bar skips to 100% and freezes the system.
I'm pretty sure everything is set up correctly, her flash drive is FAT32, all the gamecube games are working and we do have the cIOS installed. Any tips?

Perhaps I can do some testing, if I had some time as I might be pretty busy with work in the next few weeks.
