Hello I'm new here and have some problems.
About a year ago I finaly softmoded my wii but then I didn't accually do anything more.
Just recently i took out the wii agian and stated playing but I want tu put all my Wii and NGC games on a HDD.
It's a generic 2.5" enclosure but it's on the list of compatible units when I checked the unit ID.
First installed USB Loader GX using this guide.
But then I read online that FAT32 is better and needed for NGC games so I started over using the guide on their site. But it does not work.
Seems to rip games all fine, Tried with genuine New Super Mario Bros Wii and Donkey Kong Country returns.
But when I try to load NSMB the screen turns black and the wiimote shuts off, only thing to do is shut off the console on the power button.
Try to load DKCR and the 002 error comes up with blue background and only thing left to do is the power button.
Plus the console whants to do a system update.
4.3E and those two games are genuine european games.
The only Nand backup is from after the first installation of USB Loader GX on a 2GB SD card
When I installed USB Loader GX I use a 16GB SDHC card
I installed d2x-cios d2x v8 final from here http://code.google.com/p/d2x-cios/downloads/list
I also think I managed to install Hermes V4 following this guide http://www.hacksden.com/showthread.php/238-Install-Hermes-cIOS-202-222-223-224
The more I read the more confused I get.
