Yeah, just make sure you stick it in the right usb port, or it will crash while installing a game

What do you mean by "the right usb port" ?

As in not the left port.

The top one when it's on its stomach?

I wonder why they are different...

3 questions :

1. Is the current from the USB port large enough for an external portable notebook HD (with no power supply) ?
2. Is the Wiifit's date problem gone for this 1.1 loader ?
3. Metrio Prime 3 is still not working ? No matter how ?

Many many Thanks !

3. Had no problem with Metroid Prime 3 on 1.0 . dumped from original.

has anyone played using the loader for an extended period of time (1 hr +) ? My rb2 backup froze after an hour of playing, but it could be the fault of the HDD.

I've updated a channel that I liked - the channel still says 1.0, but it loads 1.1. Download here.

Cheers! Now why did I partition my 1Tb to 480GB? I've got 17 games and only used 30GB!

EDIT: I have more games but they were patched for the original BUL, but I can't save them on the HDD as it doesn't recognise it as a Wii Disc?

Any way around this, apart from obtaining the iso again?

Just tested and can confirm Geometry Wars (Pal) still does not work with 1.1. Nice to be able to see the size of your images though.

Quick Question. Does USB Loader work on 4.0?

Yes , 4.0U here .. (Assuming you have softmodded correctly, and updated to 4.0 correctly of course)

i don't think that decrypted games for bul 1 will ever be supported by this. because usb loader would have to repack and resign them on the fly. whole lot of coding needed.

€dit: just remembered that the "decrypter" for bul 1 didn't extract all files of the original iso. so the chance to use those disc with usb loader is even smaller.

I'd like to second this question. I have a spare notebook hard drive, and plan to buy an external enclosure for this. Any idea if the Wii puts enough power through the USB port for power, or if I need to find one that has a separate power supply?

I was dumping SMG tonight and it froze at 57%. I turned the Wii off and cleaned the disc and it dumped perfectly on the 2nd attempt but I'm wondering..... on a Windows system, if you force a reboot when the system is hung or do an instant reboot or something, this sometimes triggers chkdsk to run. Since I had to force my Wii to reboot while the dumping process was locked up.... how does the USB_Loader app deal with that? Can this feature be added to v1.3? (Some sort of "Check partition for errors")?? To clean up slack space and what not.

Works great. Now all it needs is a way to rename the games that are loaded onto the USB (since some of mine are not very descriptive), and it's perfect!
