Well if there isn't a Windows tool to transfer the ISOS onto the partition, is there a tutorial somewhere to use it in Linux? I have Knoppix on CD so I'm assuming I can use that.

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, why cant a person just put isos on the hdd, whats the difference??
I would assume its cuz of the file system ISO Loader uses. Thats why I need a tutorial on how to move isos.

Well no sucsess here so far. First tried backup disc of wii music, dumped to my kingston datatraveler 8gb in about 2 min. but refuses to load it, hangs for a while and then a code dump, until i pull the plug.

Then tried with original wii sports, went to like 17% and then hangs, after a while code dump again wich looks the same.

Might be an issue with my usb, so have to wait a coupl days to try with another

and again: the loader uses a special filesystem not available on pc/mac/xnix. it was designed especially for the laoder and right now there is only a tool for linux to copy file to a hdd formated with this filesystem.

Installed with no problems.

Just ripped original wii sports and played fine, only got a 2gb usb stick to test with at the moment so can't do much at the moment i have an ipod but don't really want to format it. Looks like im off the buy a large usb stick of HD tomorrow.

Another question, once I have dumped my games on to the hdd, will I need the discs for anything else or will the hdd alone do the job everytime?

Looks like its probably the datatraveler USB drive, as I have one too and it hangs after about a minute trying to backup RB2.

What do you mean by "to my knowledge"? Did you hook up a drive with a wbfs partition to another OS or not?

hdd will do the job, so yes you can rent games and rip then, then return them within a few hours saying they didnt work and grab another one for free..
