- can we get the filesystem 'driver' auto packaged with a wii linux build? So we can use SD cards or network to transfer over isos.

What do you mean by "to my knowledge"? Did you hook up a drive with a wbfs partition to another OS or not?

well considering wani and his cohort created WBFS, and only created a linux tool for it. i think its safe to say it will not work under windows, unless microsoft is like the guys out of AntiTrust (movie) and have video of the guys coding there FS so that they could in turn implement support for Win. You should be able to get WBFS_tool running under OS X, but i have no idea which dependencies you would need...

and yes, UNCLE SAM wants YOU!!

to test out WBFS under win and prove the infidels wrong!!

Im using a buffalo 500gb 7000rpm external drive.

I just split my external HDD into two partitions. Will the USB Launcher format the first partition by default or will it let me choose which one?

Now i tested some games and every in working:
Ghost Squad
TV Show King Party
Mario Kart Wii
007
Spongebob
Guininess world records the Videogame
Zelda TP
Super Paper Mario
SSBB
Kororinpa
Wii Sports
Wii Play
Super Mario Galaxy

All games are runnning with amazing loading times

Ok, so what can i use to create a partition? I have a 500GB WD HDD and It has my LIFE on it. How can I make it work with the USB loader and also keep my files?

Partitition Magic.
Be careful though, double check before you make changes.

If you're on Vista, go into Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management, then find your HDD. Right-click on it and choose to shrink the partition by however much you want to. Then you right-click on the unallocated space and format that.

Or maybe the formatting isn't necessary since the loader will have to format it anyway. I'll have to see when I get the chance to try out my HDD in this thing.

so if i use a 32gb usb stick with nothing on it the loader will format it automatically? also i take it to load games i have to load the loader 1st?

Thank you Mr. Waninkoko! If you were a girl, I would marry you.

Awesome job!! Works great!

There needs to be a function that lets you plug in two USB drives, and transfer backups from one to another.
If your drive fills up, and you get a new larger one, having to re rip your entire collection would be a major pain.

Every game works so far me except Geometry Wars Galaxies (PAL) can anyone confirm it may be my disc seems in good condition though.
