This thing really needs a tool for windows that just lets one put the isos on the hdd and set, now if you want to use linux, ubuntu wich I have used b4 you have to compile this...

well it's a matter of time before this becomes an easy process for the average Joe and the tools will be made possible to use in Windows OS

I wonder if there are any negative effects of not having the fan spinning. Should I worry about the Wii's internal components over-heating?

I had the same issue, which was only solved by using the Linux tool to copy over the iso.

It took me 3 tries to dump a backup of Okami, each time it got a little further till it finished. So I guess I'm just saying if it's getting stuck dumping it might be worth just resetting the Wii and trying again. All in all this is an amazing tool and I can't wait for GC support on it too.

Just finished installing Brawl using the USB loader, works perfectly. Froze first time installing but works now wicked.......so im just left with metroid remake that can't play atm

I just tried to install brawl from a DL DVD-RW. Installed 100% took 36:21 for me, booted fine, but when I hit A at the title screen it froze on white screen.
It didn't always run well from this DVD either though.
I think I'll have to find out how to use this Linux tool.

Yeh mine was on a Verbatim and i never had a problem with the disc at all.........runs f.king great from usb loader

Mine was Verbatim too, but it often would freeze during cutscenes. I suspect it was a bad burn.
But if I can just dump the iso directly to the HDD through linux it should work perfectly.

Hey guys can anyone tell me if the region of the game matters with the USB loader?

I can tell you I'm on 3.2 and have Starfall installed if that makes any difference.

It seems to be region free. I'm running 3.2U and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom worked just fine for me.
