One question about the partition issue.

So if i format say a 500gb hard drive but the loader tells me only 120 is free.Does that actual mean only 120 free or can i use the whole 500gb?

I know the loader isnt showing correct numbers but im just wondering.
less than a page ago this was addressed. the space is there just reported incorrectly.

Thats what i thought.
I had a game hang when i tried to install it and i figured that was why because maybe it would only let you use what it was showing. So now i dont know why the game wouldnt install but after powering down and retrying it worked fine.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work with my WD mybook 500GB using usb 2.0.

I get the -1 usb subsystem error when I try in either port.

My sandisk u3 cruzer 8GB works fine, though.

okay i have the cios wad now. are there any chances of this bricking my console? if so what is the likelihood of it happening? are there any chances of recovering from the brick?

EDIT: also could someone please post the md5 check sum of the cios36 rev 9

My guess would be "no/not yey" but I have sort of an OCD question. Either through the Wii or on a computer is there a way to change the names on the list so instead of it reading Blob07 I can have it read deBlob?

The loader doesnt recognize any of my pirate games, it says:

"Not a wii game."

The only one that I succesfuly bumped was Wii sports, because it is an original game.

I have a d2ckey modchip, is there any relation?

Not one the computer right now unless using linux maybe?

I put my 8gb drive i used on the wii back on my windows computer and as soon as its plugged in windows tells me it needs formatting in order to work.Give it a few days and im sure there will be new releases of this program that fix the current bugs

So a DVD drive is required to use this right? My DVD drive is broke so I guess I have to borrow a Wii to copy my games over

OK, i started with the -1 usb filesystem error on my cheap ass usb hdd enclosure, fixed it by changing the power cable and the data cable around, data is to the top, power is on the bottom.

Tested Rune factory frontier and FFCC: echoes of time, both had dumping times under 15 min, both were scene releases brickblocked and both work, i really like Marcan and the guys but with my Wii´s DMS drive already failing and making crazy noises, i gotta give it to Waninkoko, Big W is the man!

I've tested the following:

Animal Crossing (retail) - Works, but the date/time gets fucked up
Onechanbara (burned) - Works
Pokemon Battle Revolution (retail) - Works
Wario Land (retail) - Stops installing around 50%
WarioWare (burned) - Works

Dunno if the problem is with the Wario Land disc, or if I'm out of space. It said I had around 4 gigs (out of 8 max) when I partitioned, but people are saying you can use the full maximum, so idk.

Try Wario Land again and see if it works.A burnt copy of Pikmin froze on me and i redid it and it worked fine.
I read in another post somewhere that the freezing could be caused by the hard drive/usb drive getting to hot.

Man I tried Wii Music in my drive and I thought my Wii was gonna blow.

Lucky for me I figured out how to dump my ISO from my PC's internal drive using Knoppix. Less than 3 minutes for Mushroom Men at 1.79G.

Anyone know how to prepare a USB HDD on Mac OS X, so the Loader will format the disk.

I'm in the same boat. I have a 250 gig Lacie drive and can't get the program to recognize it. Help, please!
