Hi, im having the following issue using any wupinstaller in any version, when i try to install large games (Mario + Luigi U, Zelda, Mario Kart, smash, just dance 2017 etc) when i reach 5gb+ it stop copying and closes the install and return to the game install selection screen from wupinstaller, but when i install smaller games i dont have this problem (mario maker, mario party, pokken tournament, etc) ive tried all the wupinstaller around the web and i got the same error, anyone has a solution ? anyone with the same issue, ive tried on different consoles (i have two 8gb consoles in my house) with diferents sd cards and with diferents usb hardrives and pendrives.. Hope someone can help...

Hmmmm weird. Maybe you're doing a step wrong? If it's not that then I have no idea. Anyway if you have Rednand try installing with system configuration tool!

A lot of people have had luck installing larger games by turning off their ex hdd's sleep function.

For whatever reason the hdd thinks it's inactive during install and turns itself off.

Are you using wupinstaller Y mod? That more or less is currently best choice.
You also might have a bad download there, crashing the installer out. Has happened.

I havent tried the sleep option, how i can turn off the sleep option of my hdd ?

Ok ill try, but it happens too when i use usb stick... So this can be the same issue ?

go into settings, into data management, press and hold down on the d-pad for a second, continue holding down and press the - and + buttons until a prompt appears

That has got to be the dumbest way to do something I've ever heard of. Why in the world don't they just have a dedicated button for that?

I had this same exact issue with Xenoblade Chronicles X which is a pain since it's a huge game. How I fixed it was turning off USB sleep mode. Deleting the game off the SD card and adding it back, then installing it again. It also fixed a message I would get when I entered data management, about unknown data.

Double check your sources using tikdownloadhelper, disable hdd sleeping, disable automatically turn power off function. Installed 420GB of games without an issue. Including Xeno, Mass effect 3.

Never got that problem, even instaled Xenoblade(19Gb) no problem.
Are you using an Y cable for the external HDD?

Mass effect 3 is on the Wii.U?! Dang.

How did you even install ME3? It's not on that one ISO site, there's no ticket for it and it's not on the eShop/NUS.
