Hardware USB HDD and Wii video problems.

When I connect any usb hdd the wii gets video problems, when I remove the usb cord or power off the wii screen is fine with no problems.

This sucks! I can't use usb loader!

Why is this happening? I even turn off the wifi and nothing happens?

Is this some magnetic interference?

Right now I can only use a usb stick without causing video glitches! Which sucks! I want to use a external HDD!
