Hardware US SSBB, Ealry PAL Wii, WiiKey 1.9s update

SSBB plays sound but no picture. I ran the 1.3 config. Region override is 'ON'.
Any thoughts?

Oh yeah it's an original US copy, and it prompted for a system update when it was first loaded.

Check your scart cable it happens to me al lot to.

set wii 50HZ
turn off deflicker in options
set it back to 60hz
wait 1 min for ssbb to load (usually less, its just the wii safety/loading screen)
should boot as normal now

Couldn't locate a deflicker option, but I switched to 50 and rebooted. A friend's copied Japanese version is running. Will try 60 once I can pry the controls out out my kids hands.
